1.持机：用右手四指托住机座，大拇指自然的放在机身上盖顶端，平稳的持住整机。如图(1)所示。

2.穿线：如图（1）将线轴一的线轻轻拉出。穿过引线圈A，然后引入夹线调节片B。在穿过引线圈C。
引过的线头暂时放在机针旁，另将穿线器从机针前面（向机身结合部）穿过机针孔，再将线头引入穿线器小孔中，退出穿线器拉出线头约2-3公分压线板压住即可待用。（见图1）

3.放布：用右手食指抬起压板，将准备好待缝的织物（厚度不超过0.8毫米）平整放入压板下，轻轻放回压板压住织物；（见图2）
3.Life up the clothe fastening plate with reght forefinger and putting the cloth(less thean 0.8mm gauge)under the fastening plate,and then setting down the fastening plate.(fig 2)
4.缝纫操作：用左手持织物，右手大拇指轻轻的迅速地下压上盖顶端压到底后，大拇指上台再下压，如此反复，送布机构地洞将被缝物向左送出。持机右手逐渐右移，左手持布配合缝纫节奏轻轻将被缝物向左移动，直至缝纫结束：如（图2）

5.本机能自动进布和调节针脚间的松紧，图1（b）螺母调节。

6.换线团：如换用大线团，可将备用的接长杆与线筒轴连接，套入大线团。然后重新穿线，调整线的松紧后进缝制，（见图3）；使用50#-90#棉线可合成线效果最好；

7.换针：松开固定螺丝，取出断针。照（图4）所示装上新针，注意要将针的平整面对正固定螺丝，不可装反。针型DHX-14.
