一直以来我认为能够释放人类的是文学和艺术，人的精神世界得到升华和超脱，可是在美国的车载音乐大部分都是古典音乐，哪怕大学里的科学家，教授开车时一直听的也就是那几首，因为人类的进化其实是非常慢的，几百年来，人类的物质科技文明不断地进步拓展，可是精神世界很难跟上科技的脚步，于是，我们开始无奈，是谁创造了当今的文明社会？科技越来越多地占用我们的时间，消耗我们的精神和金钱，隔绝了我们和家人的交流，最后，我们真的要抱着一棵科技的大树活到天荒地老吗？我一直以为自己是个无可救药的技术乐观主义者，对新技术的未来总是过于乐观。但是这半年来，我发现在虚拟现实这个点上，真实情况可能比我想的还要乐观。这可能是二十多年里我头一次低估的技术。

 

　　Oculus VR 刚出来的时候，我是纯粹把它当成一款颠覆性的游戏和电影设备的，很棒，没了；第一次在车库上手了第一代设备后，还是这种感受，没错，它会重塑 FPS 游戏的体验；后来我慢慢意识到，虚拟现实技术在特定场景下的人机交互还有很多可供挖掘的，远不止是游戏和电影，教育、生产等方面也有很广的前景。

 

　　再往后，年初Facebook花20亿收购了Oculus，说要打造下一代社交平台。最开始我真看不懂，但是慢慢地，我开始领会到一些东西。虚拟现实技术是在重塑一个世界，这样的技术的威力在初期很难看到全貌，但是我隐隐已经看到这只巨兽一条腿了。
