　　巴氏合金也叫巴比特合金、白合金，是一种具有悠久使用历史的轴承合金。含有80%～90%锡，3%～16%锑，1.5%～10%铜。其组织为在软基体(α固溶体)上分布着硬质点β相(以化合物SnSb为基的固溶体)。加入铜可以防止比重偏析。常用牌号有ZchSnSbl2-4-10、ZchSnSb11-6、ZchSnSb8-4等。

　　这类合金具有较小的线膨胀系数，良好的导热性能、工艺性能和耐蚀性。熔融法制备、压力加工成材。主要用作汽车、拖拉机、汽轮机等机械上的高速轴承。主要用于水泥球磨机、压缩机、压延机、水轮机、船舶螺旋浆轴套、金属矿磨机、船舶、电梯、吊索和其它重型机械的轴套、轴瓦等。

　　巴氏合金主要使用于大型机械主轴的轴瓦、轴承、轴衬、轴套。如：水泥机械、钢铁机械、化工机械、造纸机械、石油机械、船舶机械、压缩机械、煤矿机械、选矿设备等等，还可以用在大型机床上来取代黄铜，效果也很好。巴氏合金除制造滑动轴承外，因其质地软、强度低，常将其丝或粉喷涂在钢等基体上制成轴瓦使用。为防止成分偏析和细化晶粒，还常加入少量的砷。
